Asian Banking School yesterday celebrated the official launch of its Digitalisation Initiatives and ABSNexLearn at the AICB Centre of Excellence, Kuala Lumpur - reflecting its continued commitment to shaping future-ready learning for the banking and financial services sector.

The launch brought together regulators, industry leaders, academia and valued partners, and featured welcoming remarks by Professor Dr. Manivanan Saman, Chief Executive Officer of Asian Banking School; a Special Address by En Suhaimi Ali, Assistant Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia; and keynote addresses by Mr. Siva Kumeren A. Narayanan, Group Chief Operating Officer of TalentCorp, and Mr. Philip Eden, Executive Vice President, Intuition Asia Pacific.

Starting with this cohort, FSTEP participants will have the privilege of accessing ABSNexLearn as part of their learning and development journey, enabling them to strengthen their knowledge and skills through AI-enabled, immersive and industry-relevant digital learning.

This milestone further reinforces ABS’s commitment to developing future-ready talents by providing participants with greater access to digital learning, industry-relevant content and continuous professional development.

Due to the overwhelming response received for our 1st FSTEP Alumni Mini Event 2026 - PLAY. SIP. CONNECT., we are excited to share that we have managed to open up additional seats for the event!

We initially targeted 30 pax, but thanks to the strong interest and support from our alumni community, we are now reopening registration with an additional 30 pax.

Open to all FSTEP Alumni from Batch 1 to Batch 29.

A warm welcome to FSTEP Batch 30.

Today, we are proud to welcome 45 participants as they begin their FSTEP journey with us. From 1 April to 25 June 2026, they will undergo classroom training before returning to their sponsoring financial institutions for the next phase of their development.

This marks the start of an important journey of learning, growth and industry exposure, and we are delighted to be part of it.

We wish Batch 30 a meaningful and enriching experience ahead.

In just a few days, we will welcome the participants of the Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme (FSTEP) Batch 30 as they begin their journey into the financial services industry.

From 1 April – 25 June 2026, participants will undergo intensive full-time classroom training designed to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and industry insights needed to build successful careers in banking and financial services.

Guided by experienced trainers and industry practitioners, the programme combines industry-relevant modules, practical learning, and professional development to prepare participants for their future roles in the financial sector.
