From Classroom to Real-World Tech: Explore Your IT Future

Our Diploma in Information Technology students from Sunway College Velocity, Cheras recently visited Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB), they gained real-world understanding into Malaysia’s 5G rollout and evolving digital infrastructure.

From telecommunications and smart home security to cloud technologies, students explored how 5G is powering the next wave of innovation and connectivity.

They were also introduced to the concept of Smart City in Malaysia seeing how intelligent systems, data-driven solutions, and enhanced connectivity are transforming urban living, from smart mobility to digital services and sustainable planning.

Most importantly, the experience helped students connect IT to real-life impact while sparking ideas for their future careers and innovations.
