πβ¨ SPM PRE-TRIAL EXAM REVISION WORKSHOP 2026 β¨π
UCSI University Springhill Campus was honoured to collaborate with Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah (PPD) Port Dickson in organising the SPM Pre-Trial Exam Revision Workshop 2026 on 18 June 2026 for Form 5 students from secondary schools across the Port Dickson district.
A total of 146 Form 5 students participated in the intensive Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah revision workshops, aimed at strengthening their preparation for the upcoming SPM examination.

Happy Dragon Boat Festival to all from UCSI University Springhill Campus!
Did you know this 2,000-year-old festival was originally centered around teamwork and ancient health customs to ward off disease?
Just like the synchronized rowing of a dragon boat crew, it takes the collective effort of our entire medical, nursing, and healthcare community to drive wellness forward every day.

From exploring the fascinating science behind sight to testing out real optical instruments, these bright students gained valuable, real-world insights into eye health, visual functions, and the exciting, high-demand world of optometry.

On 9 June 2026, we were absolutely delighted to welcome the delegation from Teesside University, UK, to our campus!
It was an honor hosting Dr. Kevin Thomas (Associate Dean International, School of Health & Life Sciences), alongside June Chai (Regional Director, South East Asia) and Ronnie Chai (Regional Manager, ASEAN) from the Department of International Development.
The visit was a fantastic opportunity to explore future collaborations, look into globalizing our nursing curriculum, and discuss exciting international mobility opportunities for our students.

On 8 June 2026, UCSI School of Optometry, UCSI University, successfully organised Optometry Career Day 2026, providing students with valuable opportunities to engage with industry professionals, explore career pathways, and gain insights into the evolving field of optometry and eye care.
The event brought together representatives from leading optical and healthcare organisations, optometrists, industry experts, and alumni to share their experiences and expertise with aspiring eye care professionals. Through a series of career talks, panel discussions, and networking sessions, students gained a deeper understanding of career opportunities within clinical practice, retail optometry, vision care services, research, and industry sectors.
Representing all members of the School of Optometry programme team, who welcomed participants and emphasised the importance of industry engagement in shaping competent and future-ready graduates.
Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to interact directly with employers, learn about internship and employment opportunities, and receive guidance on professional development, career planning, and emerging trends in eye healthcare.
Optometry Career Day 2026 reflects School of Optometry, UCSI University's ongoing commitment to enhancing graduate employability, strengthening industry partnerships, and preparing students to excel in the dynamic and growing field of optometry.
The event concluded with an appreciation session for participating organisations and industry partners whose support contributed to the success of the programme and enriched the learning experience of all attendees.

Mobility. Education. Collaborative Research.
On 2 June 2026, a courtesy visit and bilateral discussion were held between the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS), UCSI University, and Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities (YMUN), China, to explore opportunities for academic and research collaboration.
The YMUN delegation was led by its President, Professor Huang Longjian, and included Mr. Liao Tianbao, Director of the President's Office; Dr. Wen Jianjun, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges; Professor Nong Sheng, Deputy Dean of the School of Humanities and Management; Professor Yang Caiyan, Deputy Dean of the School of Pharmacy; and Mr. Zhang Jian, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges.
Representing UCSI University were Professor Ts. Dr. Cheah Shiau Chuen, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences; Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Tan Chung Keat, Head of Praxis, Industry and Community Engagement; and Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Eugenie Tan Sin Sing, Head of Postgraduate Studies.
The meeting was hosted by Dr. Wen Jianjun, Director of YMUN's Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges. The discussions focused on faculty and student mobility, talent development, postgraduate education, academic exchange programmes, and collaborative scientific research.
The visit concluded with the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant step towards strengthening educational and research ties between the two institutions and fostering future collaboration in medical education, healthcare innovation, and scientific research.

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming a bright group of 35β40 students and teachers from Marifah International School to our beautiful UCSI SpringHill Campus!
The students dived into an exciting, hands-on 2-hour workshop hosted by our Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPS). From exploring the campus to getting a taste of real-world pharmacy work, it was an action-packed day of learning and discovery. π§ͺ
A huge thank you to Mr. Por, the FPS team, our SpringHill Team, and everyone involved for coordinating such a seamless and impactful visit.
