Adcote Matrix Schools

Our Standard 3A students recently took part in a Moral Education activity based on Unit 7, “Sekolah Kebanggaanku” (“My School, My Pride”).

Through meaningful discussions and creative hands-on learning, students explored the importance of appreciating and caring for their school environment while reflecting on values such as responsibility, respect, and gratitude. Using simple craft materials including colourful paper, pens, glue, and ice-cream sticks, they created unique projects that showcased their understanding of the topic.

Throughout the activity, students exchanged ideas, collaborated with their peers, and worked together to bring their designs to life, strengthening their communication, teamwork, and creativity while fostering a deeper sense of school pride.

On 3 June, Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad marked another significant milestone with the launch of the 𝐋𝐓𝐇 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞, committing up to RM1 million annually to support and develop student athletes.

Inspired by 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐨’ 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐞𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐜𝐤 (Founder & Group Executive Deputy Chairman) and developed in collaboration with Adcote Matrix Malaysia Schools, the programme aims to nurture young talent through a holistic approach that combines academic excellence, sports development, leadership training and character building.

Designed to identify and cultivate promising athletes from across the nation, the scholarship is open to international, national and state-level athletes, as well as emerging sporting talents. Successful recipients will benefit from access to education at Adcote Matrix Malaysia Schools, professional sports coaching, and mentorship opportunities to support their personal and athletic growth.

During the Term 2 Project Examination, our private school students showcased their creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills through a variety of hands-on projects. Standard 4 students designed and built model cars, Standard 5 students created solar-powered fans and sewed seatbelt covers, while Standard 6 students assembled and programmed RC cars.

These projects provided valuable opportunities for students to apply their learning in real-world contexts, developing technical skills, critical thinking, confidence, and creativity through experiential learning.
