🏸 KLSL Badminton League Success at UCSI International School 🏸

This month, our students proudly represented UCSI International School in the U9, U11, and U13 KLSL Badminton League competitions against other international schools across the league.

Each tournament followed a *round robin format*, where every school played against every other school. Teams earned points throughout the day, with the school earning the highest total points finishing as the overall winner.

🥇 *U9 Badminton*
For the U9 competition, each school team was made up of:
* 1 Boys Singles Player
* 1 Girls Singles Player
* 1 Boys Doubles Team
* 1 Girls Doubles Team
* 1 Mixed Doubles Team

Our students had an incredible tournament, with both the *U9 Boys and U9 Girls finishing as overall champions* in their respective divisions.

* 2 Girls Doubles Teams

Schools competed against every other school in their group during the round robin stage before moving into placement matches.

Our students performed exceptionally well, with the:

This judge is an expert in Art & Design, Fashion & Textile, Food Technology, and Creative Arts Education. 🎨🍽️ Karunajanan Noel Vallaipan is a seasoned Malaysian educator and Head of Department for Creative Arts who brings a wealth of artistic and innovative insight to the table. With an impressive professional journey that includes 18 years of experience and training in Fashion Design at the Paris American Academy, France, his industry expertise is truly invaluable. He actively inspires learners worldwide through workshops and teaching, while also dedicating his time to community service as a Rotarian. 🌍🤝

Our Year 10 Food & Nutrition learners just wrapped up their Final Plating Assessment, and the kitchen was pure art in motion! We always tell them: we eat with our eyes first. 👁️✨
Plating is the secret ingredient that turns standard cooking into a true gastronomical experience.

So, for Term 3 Food Technology CCA, we decided to test out an easy snack for the upcoming school production. Let’s just say… we’re aiming for something different, but today gave a little more experimental. 😂 Oh well, you have to break a few eggs (or burn a few buns) to make culinary magic!

We promise you, the final version will be much better than this. But honestly? Behind this humble hotdog is a mountain of junior and senior dedication. ✨
