بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In Surah Ibrahim (14:7), Allah states: "If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe."
In Arabic, the word for denial here is kufr, which linguistically means to "cover up, conceal, or deny".
Scholars, such as in Tafsir Maarif-ul-Quran, explain that this denial (ingratitude) takes several forms:
*Ingratitude for Blessings (Kufr an-Ni'mah):
*Failing to acknowledge Allah as the true source of one's wealth, health, and provisions, and instead attributing them entirely to one's own efforts or skills.
*Misusing Allah's Favors: Spending the blessings, health, wealth, or time Allah has provided in acts of disobedience, or using them in ways that are spiritually or morally impermissible.
*Denial of the Truth: -Rejecting divine guidance, the Prophets, or the fundamentals of faith.
-This also includes neglecting obligatory duties (like prayer and charity) prescribed by Allah.
*The Forms of Punishment as denial has varying degrees, the resulting punishment manifests in different forms:
-In this World: The loss or removal of barakah (blessings), sudden deprivation, or being afflicted with hardships and trials that prevent you from finding peace and fulfillment in what you have.
-In the Hereafter: The ultimate consequence is the severe and painful punishment of the Hereafter, which the Quran describes as dire for those who deliberately deny the truth.
Scholars emphasize that while Allah promises to certainly reward gratitude, He does not explicitly say "I will certainly punish" every ungrateful person, leaving the door open for His forgiveness and pardon.

The days of Tashreeq (the 11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah) are the three days immediately following Eid al-Adha. The Prophet (ﷺ) specifically designated them as times of celebration, eating, drinking n remembering Allah.
1. Sahih Muslim: 1121a The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: أَيَّامُ التَّشْرِيقِ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْب
"The days of Tashreeq are the days of eating and drinking
2 . Sunan al-Tirmidhi 773:
"The Day of Arafat, the Day of Sacrifice, and the three following days of al-Tashriq are our celebrations for the people of Islam. They are days of eating and drinking.
"Key Rulings for these Days:
1. Fasting is Prohibited: Because they are days of feasting and celebration, it is forbidden to fast during the days of Tashreeq. The only exception is for pilgrims performing Hajj Tamattu' or Qiran who cannot afford to offer the sacrificial animal (Hady).
2. Dhikr (Remembrance): Along with eating and drinking, Muslims are encouraged to increase their remembrance of Allah. This includes reciting the Takbīrat al-Tashrīq after every obligatory (Fard) prayer.

The Prophet ﷺ commanded Muslims to increase in Takbeer (Allahu Akbar), Tahmeed (Alhamdulillah), and Tahleel (La ilaha ill-Allah) during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. The companions practiced this act of worship openly to glorify Allah.
Narrated by Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are no days on which good deeds are greater or more beloved to Allah than on these ten days, so recite much Tahleel, Takbeer, and Tahmeed during them." (Ahmad; classed as sahih by Ahmad Shakir).
Narrated by Ibn ‘Abbas and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them): They would go to the marketplaces, saying Takbeer, prompting others to do the same. (Sahih al-Bukhari).
