That’s a wrap on AviaDev Africa 2026! 🇧🇼✈️
Three days of intensive networking, high-level route development, and data-driven discussions have officially come to a close in Gaborone.
For EM Aviation, it was a highly productive week on the floor. We took the time to connect directly with our key partners and clients, including the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) and the NGAP Academy. Aligning on digital infrastructure, regulatory standards, and training the next generation of African aviation talent remains at the absolute core of our mission. 🌍🙌
The broader conference delivered powerful insights into navigating the current global landscape:
🔹 Resilience Amid Crisis: Despite global economic and geopolitical turbulence, the data shows Africa’s aviation sector remains the least affected globally, highlighting the immense resilience of our skies.
🔹 Unlocking Demand: Airbus’s eye-opening presentation spotlighted the continent's most unserviced routes—with the Harare–London sector leading the pack. Perfect timing as Air Zimbabwe prepares to relaunch direct flights there on July 1st! 🇿🇼🇬🇧
🔹 Sustainable Growth: From the opening Aviation Finance & Leasing Forum to deep dives into maximizing airline ancillary revenues and accelerating airport development, the focus was entirely on long-term commercial viability.
Africa’s aviation transformation isn’t a future concept—it's happening right now through collaborative, strategic partnerships.
Looking ahead, the momentum doesn't stop here. See you all next year in Lusaka, Zambia, from June 9–11, 2027, at the Lusaka International Convention Centre (LICC) as we continue to shape the future of our skies! 🇿🇲✨
Thank you to the organizers, our partners, and fellow delegates for an exceptional week. Let's keep building! 🛫🚀

✈️ Day 2 & Wrap-Up: Harmonizing Aviation Safety Across Africa!
And that’s a wrap on the 7th EAC Aviation Symposium in Mombasa! 🇰🇪 It has been an incredibly productive two days of collaboration, insights, and forward-thinking discussions.
As day 2 drew to a close, a powerful overarching theme took center stage: Regional Safety and Security Oversight. The final sessions highlighted a critical pillar for the continent’s aviation ecosystem: Cooperation through peer support and harmonized policies, featuring excellent insights from industry leaders like Mr. Beloved Mupfururiwa from SASO.
🌍 Bridging the Gaps: The EM Aviation Mission
This core focus perfectly aligns with our mission. At EM Aviation, we look at these regional success stories and best practices, adapting and implementing them to plug existing operational and training infrastructure gaps across other parts of the continent.
By bringing scalable, standardized digital examination solutions and localized knowledge to Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs) and Approved Training Organizations (ATOs), we are committed to making a harmonized African sky a reality.
Thank you to CASSOA, KCAA, and everyone who stopped by the Aircademy booth to chat with our team. The momentum built here carries forward!
