I think a lot of people in tech are being misled, and I say this with respect.
Taking courses, watching tutorials, and collecting certificates is fine, but none of these actually prove you can do the job. I’ve seen people with multiple certificates struggle to build something from scratch or even explain how their own project works, and honestly, that’s where the real problem is.

In the real world, nobody is paying you for what you watched; they’re paying you for what you can build and explain.

That’s why I believe more people should build real projects, defend those projects (not just upload code and disappear), and get properly verified based on actual ability.

Because the truth is, copying code is easy, but understanding it deeply enough to defend it is not. And that’s what separates people who are ready from people who are not.
