My journey to NCLEX started 2023 when I joined the content class, the registration/ credentials evaluation process was handled by boss Toyin from Start to finish without any hitches, she knows her onions, I went through rebranded class several times and that helped broadened my knowledge and boost my critical thinking, though along the line, I lost my mom and that made me to pause a while and continued after her burial. On my exam day, 4th of June, I took 120 questions and the computer shut down on the next question.
Special thanks to my start to finish instructor, boss Toyin you are God sent, and to my one on one coach boss Amaka, thank you boss for making sure I cover almost all aspect of NCLEX in a short time, to all my bosses in rebranded class I doff my cap for you, you all are amazing, very dedicated to service. To boss decency, I say a big thank you for giving us the platform to Achieve our dream, God bless you sir.

Good morning everyone,
I thank the God of journeys, El Roi, who saw me through. May His name be praised. I also appreciate my family for their prayers and sacrifices throughout this journey.
I sat for my exam on my first attempt on the 29th of May, 2025.
I was introduced to Decency Academy by my colleague, who have been my mentor from February 2025 until now.
My special appreciation goes to Boss Lilian, who always demanded that I understand the mechanism and pathophysiology behind every answer. Her dedication pushed me to study harder and think critically.
My sincere gratitude also goes to my able Boss Chioma, who stood by me like a sister and not just a boss. She taught me diligently and provided wonderful study notes that were easy to understand and very explanatory. Despite traveling, she continued to send words of encouragement and prayers, always reminding me to read the notes and review previous lessons.

I passed my exam in one sitting. I am super grateful to the Decency Nclex Academy for their support and wonderful teaching throughout my journey.

A special thank you goes to my one on one tutor Boss Chioma, may God bless you for me. God used you as an instrument of strength for me. This amazing woman would call me on days when I didn’t respond to my tasks because I was overwhelmed and give me words of encouragement, guiding me to the very end.

My computer shut off at 88. I got a lot of priority questions, 6 case studies (6 questions each), dementia, preeclampsia, hemophilia, a lot of precaution questions (airborne and the likes) and lots more.

Am still in awe that this exam which I took more than 2yrs of constant study has come to pass.
I had always known I was going to write the nclex. My dad kept reminding me that I was going to write the exam, right from nursing school. I had done a thorough research before embarking on this journey. I had doubts but I still persevered.

In January 2024, I lost my mum after a long period of illness. She was my support throughout nursing school. She was the one who convinced me to study nursing. I decided to quit and mourn her. My dad encouraged me to later pick myself up and continue.
I started on a new slate. Paid for start to finish and was assigned boss toyin.

I did content class 1, which I even repeated because I didn't reach the cut off for class 2. Continued onward till rebranded class. I kept resubscribing for rebranded class as I was not yet ready to take the exam. I did it for up to like 5 months or more. I didn't want to give chance to relaxation.

I traveled on the 4th of may, wrote my exams on the 6th.
I encountered 150 questions( I was zoning out during the exams).
I took my breaks, recollected myself and finished all the questions.

My unofficial results came out on Sunday being 10th and it was a pass💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼.

I want to sincerely thank DNA. It is good to have such support beside me on this journey.

Boss Toyin; I thank you for your time and service throughout this process. From cgfns up until exam booking and flight. The constant questions I needed clarifications to.She even connected me to a new friend; Osinachi who I shared her company throughout the trip and stay in Kenya.

Boss Chioma; my 1 on 1 tutor, I love the way you teach. Her notes are clear, concise and relatable for someone like me who has a short attention span. The notes are followed with questions so that the topics stick. She relates well with her students. I still hear her voice in my head "Odinaka I know you, you can do this, I know your capability". Even while juggling full time work and studying, she gave me hope and I built confidence. You are good at you do 👍👍👍
