Six months ago, a fish farmer posted his catfish on WhatsApp almost every day.
“Fresh catfish available.”
“DM to buy.”
“Please patronize me.”
Some days, one or two people responded.
Most days, nothing happened.
At harvest, he became desperate.
Buyers negotiated aggressively because they knew he had limited time.
He sold below value just to avoid losses.
Yet the painful part was this:
The problem was never his fish quality.
The real problem was that he was trying to sell without a system.
Then something changed.
Instead of posting randomly, he learned how to:
→ Position his business professionally
→ Build a customer list before harvest
→ Create demand using simple content
→ Use WhatsApp strategically, not emotionally
→ Attract restaurants and repeat buyers
→ Build trust digitally
The next harvest looked completely different.
Before harvest week arrived, customers were already asking: “When will the fish be ready?”
For the first time, he wasn’t chasing buyers.
Buyers were waiting for him.
That is the difference between running a farm… and building an agribusiness.
Many farmers today don’t actually have a production problem.
They have a visibility, positioning, and market access problem.
And this is exactly why the ADT June Cohort exists.
To help agripreneurs move from:
❌ Hope marketing
❌ Random posting
❌ Low sales
❌ Buyer frustration
To:
✅ Structured digital growth
✅ Better visibility
✅ Consistent customer engagement
✅ Increased sales opportunities
Because in today’s world, the farmer who understands digital systems has a major advantage.
The question is no longer:
“Can you produce?”
The real question is:
“Can people find, trust, and buy from you consistently?”
If you’re ready to transform how your agribusiness grows, sells, and positions itself digitally…

Digital tools are transforming agriculture from local hustle to global opportunity.
Work smarter, reach more customers, and grow your agribusiness with technology.
14/05/2026
There was a time I believed hard work alone was enough.
So I explored everything I could.
From researching random topics out of curiosity…
to writing university reports for people…
to freelancing content online…
to product listing, data entry, and digital operations.
Then came agriculture.
I stepped into agricultural waste recycling, organic poultry, mushroom farming, snail production not because it was easy, but because I genuinely believed agriculture could change lives across Africa.
But one reality kept showing up everywhere I looked:
So many brilliant agribusinesses were struggling, not because their products were bad…
but because they didn’t know how to position, market, and scale digitally.
I saw farmers produce quality goods that never reached the right buyers.
I saw agribusiness owners depend only on referrals while the world was moving online.
I saw passion without visibility.
Effort without structure.
Potential without growth.
That realization changed my direction completely.
So I began learning deeper digital skills — SEO, social media management, ecommerce operations, content strategy, community management, web design and suddenly, everything connected.
I discovered that the future of agribusiness will not belong only to those who can produce.
It will belong to those who can:
✔ Position their products
✔ Build trust online
✔ Reach markets digitally
✔ Communicate value clearly
✔ Create systems that scale
That is why ADT was created.
Not just as another course…
but as a transformation platform for agripreneurs who are tired of operating blindly in a digital world.
ADT is for the farmer who wants more than survival.
For the business owner ready to stop hiding offline.
For the agripreneur who knows there is more potential inside their business.
Because technology is no longer optional in agriculture.
It is the bridge between local effort and global opportunity.
And sometimes, success truly depends on the second letter:
“U.”
Your willingness to learn.
Your willingness to adapt.
Your willingness to grow beyond where you are today.
