History is beautiful 😍.

It helps put things into perspective.
It shows us where we began, where we are, and where we are headed as a people and as a nation.

At Selma schools, we believe that learning our history doesn't have to be abstract. It can be brought to life by visiting important sights that speak volumes.

In this age, it feels like no one ever thinks again.

Technology in itself is not bad, but total dependence on it is what we are fighting against.

That is why we introduced the sigma abacus to our children.

It helps them maintain the dignity of thinking and even do it within a short period of time.

We love tech, we also love that our kids grow up with some level of independence and great ability to think.

Our kids are on a path.

A path that sets them apart from every other child.
A path that prepares them for what lies ahead before they even know it.
A path that gives them the confidence to face their fears and problems the world throws at them with an "I know I can do it" spirit. πŸ’―

Looking forward to the leaders and change makers we're raising. πŸ’ͺ

Play is more than fun.
It is one of the most powerful ways children learn.

Research shows that play helps children develop problem-solving skills, creativity, communication, emotional intelligence, teamwork, confidence, and even academic readiness.

Through play, children learn how to make decisions, resolve conflicts, explore ideas, and understand the world around them.
Yet, many parents see play as a distraction from learning.
The truth? Play is learning.

The difference lies in understanding how to guide and support meaningful play experiences that help children grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.

So, where do you stand?
🟒 Team "Play All You Want" πŸ”΄ Team "No Play At All"

As a parent, what are some of your happiest childhood memories?

Did they involve playing with friends, flying kites, building things, running outdoors, or creating adventures?
