TH Words

Sound: /θ/ and /ð/

The letters th can make two different sounds.

1. Voiceless TH Sound — /θ/

When saying this sound, your tongue goes between your teeth and no voice is used.

Most content words (nouns, verbs, adjectives) beginning with th usually have the /θ/ sound.
