Dear leaders,

Nigerians are tired of condolences.

We want prevention.

We want intelligence gathering.

We want rapid response.

We want communities protected before attacks happen—not press conferences after lives are destroyed.

Every kidnapped child represents a failure of the system.

The question is no longer whether Nigeria has a security problem.

The question is: How many more families must suffer before security becomes the top national priority?

"When schools become targets, the future becomes a victim."

Another kidnapping.

Another breaking news alert.

Another family waiting for a phone call.

The most dangerous thing happening in Nigeria right now may not be the kidnappings alone—it is how quickly we move on from them.

When children can no longer feel safe in school and farmers can no longer feel safe on their land, insecurity becomes everyone's problem.

Nigeria deserves better.
