Eureka! (Pronounced as you.ree.ka)
It was a successful webinar!
Samuel Ademuyiwa Gbeminija was very practical about the strategies for optimizing our LinkedIn accounts.
And participants also learnt to say LinkedIn correctly. Trust me to utilize every opportunity I get to teach what I know 🥰
So, it is not LinkedIn with a /d/ sound but a /t/ sound where you have letter 'd'.
Let me break it down👇
When the past tense marker 'ed' is added to a word that ends with a voiceless sound such as 'k' or 'p', it takes a /t/ sound.
This is why LinkedIn is pronounced as Linkt-in☑️☑️
Other examples are: cracked and mopped.
You can add yours in the comment section🥰
Let me go back to my LinkedIn and do the needful.
Connect with me there and let's grow together 💃

Dear teacher,
How have you been teaching the sound of letter "i"?
Do you know that the ability to say the sounds of the letters correctly will helps you to pronounce certain words correctly too?
I taught participants of my ongoing diction class how to say the letter sounds and they were amazed they've been saying it wrongly all the while.
Knowledge is power and I am willing to empower others with what I know while I acquire more knowledge too🤗🥰
You can still join the class by paying #5000 into 0020586980, Access Bank,
Or you join the wait-list for our October batch by clicking on the link in the comment section.
See you in class.

Dear teacher,
In all you do, invest in personal development, especially in your use of English and communication skill. E get why.🙏
Some of you will say, "who English help? After all, I teach Basic Science. I don't need English". 🙆🙆
This same English is what you need to pass the required information and knowledge to your learners. Why not develop yourself and use it correctly?
Children of these days are super intelligent and won't hold back when you commit a grammatical blunder while teaching them.
Why am I saying all these?
I was opportune to be in the class when some teachers where brought in for micro-teaching today.
The first person had sound mastery of the subject matter, engaged the learners well but was faulted because her tenses were misused and learners got distracted as a result.
The second one also did well but had the H-factor.
When I was asked for my input, I made a point to say that the issues can be worked on. However, the proprietor said, "after working on them now, they will still leave us."
Hear this, school owners are looking out for the best among the lot. They are tired of putting so much into training teachers and losing them at the end of every session.
Therefore, commit yourself to self-development. If you've decided to be in the classroom, do all you can to improve on your communication skill.
Have a good mastery of your subject as well as English Language.
English is the language of communication in Nigeria. You will do yourself a lot of favour to be good at it.
English helps a lot 💯.
Meanwhile, today is day 2 of Resonating Speech Course.
You can still join us now or wait for the next batch starting in October.

Quit, fit and put are common verbs that do not change in past tense form.
Don't say: quitted, fitted or putted 🙏
