📢 UPDATE : IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL CANDIDATES WHO RECENTLY CHANGED INSTITUTIONS

Candidates who recently changed their institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) are advised to remain patient before proceeding with registration and screening processes in their new institutions. This temporary delay is due to the fact that the transfer of records from the former institution to the new institution has not yet been fully completed. As a result, some candidates may be unable to access certain admission-related services immediately. According to information available, the transfer and synchronization of records are expected to be completed once the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal is fully activated, which is anticipated to happen soon.

What Candidates Should Do:
📍 Remain calm and avoid panic.
📍Regularly check your JAMB CAPS and your institution's admission portal for updates.
📍 Ensure that your Change of Institution has been successfully reflected on your JAMB profile.
📍 Avoid multiple registration attempts, as this may create unnecessary complications.
📍 Wait for official confirmation that your records have been successfully transferred before proceeding with screening or registration.
Additional Information The delay is part of the normal system process and affects many candidates who recently changed institutions. Once the CAPS portal is fully activated and records are synchronized, candidates will be able to continue their admission processes without difficulty.

Candidates are strongly advised to rely only on official information from JAMB and their respective institutions and to avoid misinformation from unverified sources.

✍🏽 STEP BY STEP HOW TO PRINT YOUR ORIGINAL JAMB RESULT USING YOUR PHONE

To print your original JAMB result slip using your phone, follow these steps:

1. Open your browser (Chrome is recommended) on your phone.

2. Go to the official JAMB e-Facility portal: [JAMB e-Facility Portal](https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

3. Log in with your JAMB email address and password.

4. From your dashboard, select “Print Result Slip”.

5. Choose the examination year (for example, 2026 UTME).

6. Pay the required fee if prompted (payment is usually required for the original result slip not less than #1500)

7. After successful payment, your result slip will appear.

8. Tap the print/download option:

If you have a printer connected, print directly.

If you don't have a printer, save it as a PDF on your phone and take it to a cyber café or business centre for printing.

🎯If you cannot see the “Print Result Slip” option or your result is not available, it may mean JAMB has not yet activated printing for your result type or the database has not been fully updated. Try again later after JAMB updates the portal.

JAMB HAS ACTIVATED THE PORTAL FOR PRINTING OF 2026 UTME ORIGINAL RESULT SLIP
Candidates who have not been able to check their UTME results due to misplaced or lost SIM cards can now print their original result slip and view their scores successfully.

The JAMB Original Result Slip is also required for Admission Clearance, Post-UTME Registration, Physical Screening, School Documentation, and Verification Processes.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has successfully uploaded the Original UTME Results to its portal.

Candidates who have been waiting to access their Original JAMB Result can now do so.

⚠️ Important Notice:

The Original JAMB Result is a compulsory document for all candidates. It is required for admission processing, ranking, matriculation verification, and NYSC mobilization.

Candidates who fail to obtain their Original JAMB Result may encounter challenges during admission clearance and will not be eligible for NYSC mobilization until the required records are properly verified.
