Are you an "Amalekite"?

A couple of weeks ago, I stumbled on a comment under a post that was talking about a popular celebrity. Someone in the comment section referred to this famous celebrity as an "Amalekite" which honestly threw me off until I understood the reason for that tag.

So I'm asking again if you are an "Amalekite"?

You are an "Amalekite" if you always misuse these words "Am" and "I'm".

"Am" is a singular present tense verb which needs the subject pronoun "I" to function properly in a sentence. It is grammatically incorrect to begin a sentence with 'Am," except if it is used to ask a question. E.g., Am I wrong?

Examples of "am" in a sentence:
I am beautiful.
I am going to work.

"I'm," on the otherhand, is a contraction of "I am". It is basically the informal version of "I am," which means that "I am" is used formally while I'm is used informally.

Examples:
I'm so happy to see you.
I'm Esther, James's younger sister.
I'm going to school.
I'm beautiful.

"Am" can never be complete on its own in a sentence without "I".

So, stop saying👇🏻

Am Esther, James younger sister.❌️
Am so glad to finally meet you.❌️
Am beautiful, etc. ❌️

Don't be an impatient writer or speaker. Slow and steady wins the race.
