And to fuel the fun, we had a treat extravaganza - popcorn, ice cream, finger food, snacks and drinks galore! 🍿🍦

From simple mud clay, they crafted amazing objects filled with imagination, skill, and originality. Every piece told a unique story and showcased the power of creativity when young minds are given the opportunity to explore and express themselves.

But the learning didn’t stop there! Our learners confidently defended their projects, explaining their ideas, creative process, and the inspiration behind their work with impressive presentations. 👏🏽

This project was more than an art activity — it was a journey of creativity, confidence-building, communication, and self-expression.

We are proud of our young creators for turning ordinary clay into extraordinary masterpieces👌

Creativity came alive in our classrooms as our pupils proudly presented their Holiday Junk Model Projects — beautifully crafted houses made from recycled and waste materials such as cartons, plastic bottles, matchsticks, cans, beans, rice, and more! 🏠♻️

The project was designed to encourage creativity, innovation, environmental awareness, and confident communication skills. Our young learners amazed us with their imagination, attention to detail, and ability to transform everyday waste materials into stunning works of art. 🌍🎨

During the Project Defense Day, each pupil confidently explained the inspiration behind their model, the materials used, and the process of creating their masterpiece. It was truly inspiring to see them think creatively, speak boldly, and showcase their talents with pride. 👏

We celebrate the hard work, originality, and brilliance of every pupil who participated. The future is indeed creative and bright! ⭐️

Today, May 16th, as the world marks the International Day of the Boy Child, we @ DHS proudly celebrate our boys.

We are committed to nurturing confident, responsible and purposeful young boys who will grow into great men tomorrow.

📌To every parent raising a boy:
👉Please do not only ask if he is doing well academically.
👉Ask if he is becoming a good man.

📌Because the world does not only need successful men. The world desperately needs good men.

Boys of value are the product of parents of value… Examine yourself!!!
Will you be proud enough to tell your son to behave like you?
Give your son a paper and pen and ask him to write ten things he will like to emulate from you and the ones he will not like to. *Reflection time!*🤷‍♀️

Our Goal Setting Day was a meaningful and productive experience as parents and teachers came together to discuss, plan, and set achievable goals for our pupils this term. 🎯📚
