As someone who lost four pages in one day and was locked out of my business page and this page for two whole weeks, I want to say this to business owners.
Please build outside this platform.
Before I lost our pages, we had so many things to roll out.
It was 1st of December, 2025 and the momentum was high.
Imagine being 6 months pregnant and waking up to not being able to access any of your pages as well as having at least 200 staff to pay salaries!
It was a harrowing season and I simply had to muster courage to keep pushing everyday that I did.
After one week, I opened a back up page and it was taken down in two days, that was the day I finally let the tears drop.
It was not funny that period at all.
I many people offered counsel that wasn’t useful.
Some things they asked us to do, we had done and they still took down our pages.
I was frustrated ooo.
But a few things kept us going and one is that we had already started building outside Instagram.
We already were not taking orders on WhatsApp so it was just our website and our customer assets.
I don’t even advice WhatsApp totally because we have been banned several times on WhatsApp and we finally lost access to the account we’ve been using since I relocated from Calabar to Lagos in 2021.
Imagine we had depended on WhatsApp…
Now is the time to become serious about taking your community elsewhere especially to where you can control.
Build lists, gather data, keep them where you can easily reach them if you lose your page or something.
And if you can, build offline as well.
Business is already a tough journey, it’s even worse when you have to deal with terrible humans, cr*azy policies and wickedness.
May God come through for us and make it easy in our journey as we give our businesses our all.
I love you and I’m rooting for you to win.

QUICK REINTRODUCTION: My name is Augusta Nkanu, actively building 🥇 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗨𝗠 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗬 𝗜𝗡 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗔 daily.
I initially launched 🥇 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗨𝗠 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗬 𝗜𝗡 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗔 in May 2018 as a CRK teacher earning N30,000 and built my business in Calabar until I moved with my family to Lagos in 2021 in search of “greener pastures”.
I started selling parfaits, juices and all the other things other brands in this industry sell together but it wasn’t working and I was broke, stuck and frustrated.
I paid for sessions, implemented what I was asked to and relaunched plus rebranded as a Pioneer Bulk Premium Parfait Company on June 12, 2023.
What started as a small business with one staff has grown to about 225 members of staff now in three branches in Nigeria(Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland and Abuja) plus over a 100 riders actively serving daily.
Between June 2023 and now, we’ve served hundreds of thousands of bowls of parfait and have built a large loyal community made up of our beloved and enthusiastic customers around the world.
I lead our team and we have successfully remained consistent, delivering premium value in our bowls of parfait for 3 years now.
Today we serve parfaits from our three main branches, several outlets scattered around Lagos and Abuja and have more offers in the works for our community.
We reaffirm our commitment to serving you in the best possible way, our Premium Products and are open to learning and growing too.
We thank you for your firm believe in us and our brand and we want you to know that you mean so much to us.
Here’s to many more beautiful memories and experiences together.
If you’ve not had our parfait yet, this is your sign to order yours on our website melonypine.com.
If you’ve had our parfait, this is your sign to have some more and tell everyone about the joy we serve daily.
While running 🥇 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗨𝗠 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗬 𝗜𝗡 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗔 , I also teach about the strategies I’ve applied to grow this business from scratch to top in so short a time here on my personal page 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻 | 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿
And remember, we DO NOT take DM orders… this is for your safety from scammers.
All orders are taken on melonypine.com
Thank you so much for always.
I love you... we absolutely love you.

I find it very disrespectful when people undermine the effort and results of someone else simply because they’ve tried to do what that person did and didn’t get similar results.
I remember when my dear Mentor posted me in January 2024 and talked about my numbers.
A lot of people were talking pure nansense, saying it was impossible, that we were telling lies and I was bewildered.
What do you mean “I’ve been in this business for 13 years, it’s impossible to have such results”????
Another one said “in all my years of selling yoghurt and parfait, I’ve never seen that amount”.
My dear, this is a mentality wahala ooo.
You’re living in a bubble and are trying to force everyone else into that same bubble.
Unfortunately, this may not work because in truth, most people are so driven, have powerful strategies and execute them so beautifully.
When these things are in place, the results are almost always unbelievable.
One of the best things you can you can do for yourself and your business is to work on your mindset.
It starts from your mind.
Whatever you don’t believe can happen for you will never happen, it doesn’t matter what you do or say.
You need to liberate yourself from the shackles of impossibility.
And please be aware, people are doing maaaaad numbers daily even in your industry.
Some times pause, find those who are winning, humbly ask them to show you the way so you too can have your own powerful results.
I promise you, your results can be so powerful and unbelievable too.

It was my 7th wedding anniversary last Monday and I simply want to thank God for never mismanaging my life.

In preparation for my launch of 8 years ago, there was something I knew I had to do and that was to come correct no matter how small I was starting.
The first thing I did after being sure I wanted to launch was to get my branding done.
I imagined that people would want to know the name of the brand they were buying from and want to reach us for more.
We had been taught in church about applying excellence in everything we did so I brought it to my business.
I got via someone’s recommendation and he designed our logo which we still use till date, only a few modifications.
He also created a letterhead, stickers and several flyers as well as a business card for me.
This guy is currently on our payroll in fact.
We’ve worked together since 2018!
I also had my Tshirts and as many items as possible created with my logo and I honestly don’t why I did that but it worked and made it easy to know our name across the city.
The next thing I did was that as I met people and sold to them, I got their phones numbers saved on my phone then I sent them WhatsApp broadcasts everyday then to buy what I was selling.
I still have those contacts saved till date, some of them are still our customers now that we have evolved but look where we started from.
Many times when there’s a picture of what you want to do in your heart, there is usually a tendency to shrink because of fear and ‘what ifs?
What if I never launched my business?
What if I never ignored my fears and refused to procrastinate?
Why if I had been afraid of approaching my Senior Pastor to request a space in church to sell?
What if I had allowed pride finish me and tell me I couldn’t sell in church?
What if I allowed sneeze and composure tell me I was a big girl earning 30k and was doing just fine?
The Pastor who bought my two bowls for 50k instead of N800 may never have taken me serious.
I would have lost out on a chance to pitch my business to the people in Calabar and learn how to run an actual business before relocating to a competitive city like Lagos.
Take that first step.
What’s the worst that can happen?
