Here’s a simple guide to help you stay on track with your visa application:

𝟲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲
This is the earliest opportunity for you to apply for your UK student visa. Start preparing your documents as soon as you receive your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies).

𝟯 - 𝟰 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲
Gather all required documents:
• Original academic documents listed on your CAS
• Original English language evidence listed on your CAS
• Original financial documents, which we have checked and approved as part of your CAS application, are required to prove you met the UKVI maintenance requirements (if applicable)
• ATAS certificate (if applicable)
• Tuberculosis (TB) test certificate (if applicable)
• Cover letter to explain study gaps, unclear sources of funds, or financial transactions
The UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) will refuse applications that contain:
• Unverified or incorrect evidence

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
You must show proof of funds to cover your tuition fees and living expenses.
This money must be in your personal account for at least 28 consecutive days before you apply, and the 28th day must be at least 31 days before your visa application date. (𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 deposited into your account during this period without proper explanations)

𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 (𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆)
IHS payment is mandatory for visas over 6 months; payment errors or non-payment can delay or invalidate your application.

𝟲–𝟴 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹
If approved, you’ll receive an eVisa (digital status). Create a UKVI account, review your details, and report any errors (e.g., name or status) before travelling.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱

❌ 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
Missing pages, signatures, or required attachments can lead to immediate rejection.

❌ 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Spelling errors, mismatched names, or wrong dates can raise red flags.

❌ 𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
Passports, test scores, or certificates must be valid at the time of submission.

❌ 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
Blurry scans or unclear uploads can make your documents unacceptable.

❌ 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴
Avoid using autogenerated names like “Doc1234” or “Scan001”.
Always rename your files clearly using this format:

❌ 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀

Copied SOPs or essays reduce your chances and can get your application flagged.
