π¨ JUST 3 DAYS TO GO! π¨
In just THREE DAYS, we begin the PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT TRAINING FOR SCHOOL LEADERS β and Iβm genuinely excited about this cohort.
Over the years, one thing has become very clear to me:
Many school leaders are working extremely hard⦠but they are doing so without the systems that make leadership sustainable.
So what happens?
β Staff need constant reminders
β The same mistakes keep repeating themselves
β Accountability becomes weak
β Leaders become emotionally exhausted
β Everything depends on supervision
β School operations become stressful
And the painful part is this:
Many leaders think the problem is simply βstaff attitude,β when in reality, the school may not have an effective PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
As a former school administrator who managed over 150 employees and more than 1000 students, performance management was one of my biggest challenges until I learned how to create structure around it.
That experience led me to develop a practical Seven-Step Performance Management Framework that has helped schools improve accountability, structure, productivity, and staff performance.
And in this training, Iβll be sharing that framework in practical and applicable ways.
β¨ IN THIS TRAINING, YOU WILL LEARN: β¨
β How to build an effective performance management system
β How to stop constantly chasing staff
β How to hold staff accountable professionally
β How to measure staff performance clearly
β How to improve accountability and ownership
β How to manage underperformance objectively
β How to reduce leadership stress through systems

β³ 12 DAYS TO GO! β³
The Performance Management Training for School Leaders is almost here!
ποΈ 30th & 31st May
π» Via Zoom
One of the biggest mistakes many schools make is evaluating staff performance based on emotions, assumptions, or occasional observations instead of a structured performance management system.
Every role in a school should have clearly defined performance parameters. A teacher should not be evaluated using the same standards as an admissions officer. A front desk officer should not be assessed with the same expectations as an administrator or accountant.
Each employee needs:
β
Clear expectations
β
Measurable performance indicators
β
Defined standards for accountability
β
A structured evaluation process
β
Regular feedback and improvement systems
This is why effective schools use role-specific evaluation templates and performance management frameworks to ensure that staff performance is assessed fairly, professionally, and strategically.
During this training, participants will learn how to:
βοΈ Create performance parameters for different roles in a school
βοΈ Develop practical evaluation templates
βοΈ Measure staff performance objectively
βοΈ Handle underperformance professionally
βοΈ Build a culture of accountability and growth
βοΈ Implement a proper performance management system in their schools
This training is for:
πΉ School Owners
πΉ School Administrators
πΉ Head Teachers
πΉ HR Personnel
πΉ Academic Coordinators
πΉ Proprietors and Management Teams
If you want to stop random staff evaluations and start managing performance strategically, this training is for you.

β³ 15 DAYS TO GO! β³
In many schools, performance management is reduced to random observations, emotional feedback, or once-in-a-term staff evaluations that change nothing.
And because there is no proper system:
β Staff become unclear about expectations and key performance indicators KPIs
β Accountability becomes weak or is barely existent
β Underperformance continues unchecked, and so the employees get away with almost anything
β Hardworking staff become discouraged because there're no clear ways to differentiate between those who put in the best work and those who do barely enough
β School leaders become frustrated and overwhelmed and barely know what to do
β The same mistakes keep repeating themselves over and over again, until the big cracks begin to show to the staff, students and parents, leading to loss of students
The truth is this:
You cannot effectively manage staff performance without a PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
And I do not mean just random supervision.
Or those occasional warnings from the school management.
And definitely not emotional reactions when you notice things that are wrong.
I actually mean having A SYSTEM in place.
This is exactly why Pezu Smith Consulting is hosting the 5th Cohort of the:
β¨ PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT TRAINING FOR SCHOOL LEADERS β¨
This training is deeply personal for me because performance management was once one of my initial biggest struggles as a newbie school administrator back in 2005.
Everything changed when I designed a structured performance management system during my role as a school administrator in a school with:
π₯ Over 150 employees
π More than 1000 students
The system helped tremendously in managing staff performance effectively, improving accountability, clarifying expectations, and strengthening the overall operations of the school.
Since then, I have refined it into a practical SEVEN-STEP FRAMEWORK that has been used successfully in schools and by leaders who wanted structure, results, and accountability in their teams.
And in this training, I will be teaching you that exact framework.
π‘ In this training, you will learn how to:
β Build an effective performance management system for your school
β Set measurable and realistic expectations for staff
β Monitor performance without micromanaging
β Improve accountability and staff productivity
β Handle underperformance professionally
β Create a culture where staff understand that performance matters
