The UBA Building, UNILAG

The relationship between the University of Lagos and the United Bank for Africa dates back to the 1960s, when UBA became the first banking institution on campus. Decades later, that partnership continues to evolve.

Conceived over seven years, this 4-storey edifice represents a shared commitment to growth, innovation, and impact. Designed to house UBA on its lower floors and provide library spaces for the University above, the building stands as a symbol of collaboration between academia and industry.
