Behind every doctoral achievement is a question worth exploring and years of commitment to seek the answer.
Congratulations to Mike Miller, Ed.D., on this incredible accomplishment!
His research on emotional intelligence in cross-cultural governance contributes meaningful insights to the broader leadership conversation, reflecting years of curiosity, persistence, and commitment to advancing knowledge in the field.
He is also deeply grateful to the faculty and staff at Edgewood University and upGrad, as well as his doctoral cohort friends, whose support, insight, and camaraderie made the journey far more enjoyable.

Many leadership challenges don't begin with poor ex*****on.
They begin much earlier, when teams rush to solve a problem that hasn't been fully understood.
The pressure to move fast is real. Markets change, targets loom, and decisions can't wait forever. But speed without clarity often creates more work, not less.
A solution can be well-designed, well-funded, and perfectly executed, yet still fail if it addresses the wrong issue.
The most effective leaders know that problem definition is not an administrative step. It's a strategic advantage.
Before asking, "How do we solve this?" it may be worth asking, "Are we solving the right thing?"
What is one business challenge that became much clearer after you spent more time understanding the problem? Tell us in the comment section

True leadership isn't about having all the answers, it's about the relentless pursuit of growth. Great leaders are great learners. They read, they ask questions, they listen, and they remain open to feedback.
In a world that's constantly evolving, the ability to adapt, unlearn, and relearn is what sets exceptional leaders apart from the rest.
Whether you're leading a team, a business, or just striving to lead yourself better, remember this:
- The more you learn, the more you grow.
- The more you grow, the more effectively you can lead.
Keep learning. Keep leading.

Experience used to be the safest thing on a leader's rรฉsumรฉ.
Now it can be the riskiest.
The instinct that made you right for a decade can quietly become the reason you're wrong today, because judgment anchored in yesterday's context doesn't survive a market that rewrites itself every quarter.
That's the line this image draws. Two senior leaders. Same seat, same title.
One leans on past achievements and watches their market impact slowly fade.
The other treats learning as the job itself โ adapting how they think to the context in front of them โ and keeps the edge.
Same chessboard. Two very different endgames.
AI has made that gap unforgiving. The leaders who stay relevant aren't the ones who know the most. They're the ones still willing to learn the fastest.
So the real question isn't which type you are.
It's which type you're becoming.
