✨ DID YOU KNOW? ✨

Positive encouragement helps build a child’s confidence and independence. 🌱

A simple “You can do it,” “Keep trying,” or “I’m proud of your effort” can make a world of difference to a child.

Encouragement teaches children to believe in themselves, take initiative, and persevere when faced with challenges. Over time, they become more confident in their abilities and more willing to try new things on their own.

Confidence doesn’t grow from doing everything perfectly. It grows when children feel supported as they learn, make mistakes, and try again. 💛

Every word of encouragement is a seed planted in a child’s future.

💙 Happy Father’s Day 💙

Today, we celebrate the men whose love, sacrifice, guidance, and support help shape the lives of children every day.

Thank you for the prayers, the encouragement, the life lessons, the quiet sacrifices, and the countless ways you show up for your children.

Your presence matters. Your words matter. Your example matters.

As fathers and father figures continue to nurture, guide, and inspire the next generation, we honour the invaluable role they play in building confident, responsible, and compassionate young people.

To all fathers, today we celebrate you and all that you do.

Wishing you a Happy Father’s Day filled with love, appreciation, and joy. 🎉

❤️TEKO VALUE OF THE WEEK: LOVE ❤️

Love is more than affection.
It is patience when a child is struggling, encouragement when they are trying, and kindness even when correction is needed.

When children feel loved, they develop a sense of security and belonging. They become more confident, more willing to learn, and more likely to build healthy relationships with others. 🌱

A child who knows they are valued is empowered to grow, explore, and become the best version of themselves. ✨❤️

Because every child deserves to be seen, heard, and loved.

💪🏽 WORD OF THE WEEK: RESILIENT

Resilience is the ability to keep going even when things don’t go as planned.

Every child will face challenges, make mistakes, encounter setbacks, and experience moments when learning feels difficult. What matters is not how many times they fall, but their willingness to get back up and try again.

Resilient children learn that failure is not the end. It is an opportunity to learn, grow, and come back stronger. 🌱

As we approach the end of the term, we encourage our pupils to remain focused, determined, and resilient.

Keep learning.
Keep growing.
Keep trying.

This term, we finish well and we finish right! ✨

✨ Keeping Our Eyes on the Finish Line ✨

At our Opening Sit-Out, we declared that “Finishing Well and Finishing Right” would be our theme for the term.

Back then, the finish line seemed far away.

Today, with just a few weeks left in the term, the end is in sight.

So much has happened already: morning assemblies, classroom lessons, practical sessions, excursions, school elections, project defences, sporting activities, assessments, moments of laughter, challenges overcome, and countless opportunities for growth.

The journey is not over yet.

Let us finish well by giving our best in the classroom, on the field, in our projects, and in the examinations ahead.

And let us finish right, with integrity, discipline, resilience, and the Teko spirit. No shortcuts.

We began this term with a theme. May we end it with a testimony we can all be proud of.

Teko to the world! 🌍

✨ EDUCATION & CHARACTER ✨

Education is most powerful when it shapes both the mind and the character.

Academic excellence is important, but knowledge alone is not enough. Children also need integrity, responsibility, kindness, respect, resilience, and self-discipline.

When learning is combined with strong values, children are better prepared not just for examinations, but for life. 🌱

The goal is not only to raise intelligent children, but to raise good human beings who will make a positive impact wherever they go. 💛

✨ DID YOU KNOW?

Children who ask questions develop stronger thinking skills. 🧠💡

“Why is the sky blue?”

It was a simple question from a young child.

One question led to another. Before long, the child was observing, comparing, imagining, and making connections.

That is the power of questions.

Every time children ask “why?”, “how?”, or “what if?”, they are doing more than seeking answers. They are learning to think critically, reason independently, and understand the world around them. 🌱

So the next time a child asks a question, remember: curiosity is not a distraction from learning. It is learning. ✨
