The 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 (𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒), 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, gathered today the 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at 𝐀𝐟𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐎𝐤𝐮 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐥, the chapter's worship centre, to observe the sacred Break of Fast in an atmosphere characterized by reverence, devotion, and spiritual reflection.

The spiritual exercise commenced at 𝟓:𝟓𝟓 𝐩.𝐦. and witnessed a commendable turnout of ABASites, who assembled in their usual spirit of unity and unwavering faith. Through prayers, hymns, anthems, spiritual choruses as all ABASites worshipped together and renewed their commitment to the ideals of service, academic excellence, and dedication to doing the Father's work.

Albeit, after the break of fasting procedures the Chapter President gave necessary announcements and he also used the avenue to encourage ABASites to remain steadfast in their spiritual journey, diligent in their academic responsibilities, and actively committed to the growth and advancement of the chapter. The fellowship further served as an avenue for spiritual edification and the strengthening of the bonds that unite ABASites as one family.

The day's fasting exercise was brought to a joyful close with a Sumptuous 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓, where ABASites ate together in an atmosphere of joy, peace, gratitude, and oneness, further reflecting the spirit of Love and Brotherhood that defines the fold.

Today being the 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 members of 𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 return all glory and thanksgiving to the Father for the successful evangelical outreach carried out today at 𝐈𝐤𝐨𝐭 𝐀𝐤𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐈𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐤𝐩𝐨 𝐀𝐬𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚, as part of the 𝐂𝐔𝐆𝐅 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in tandem with the State.

The chapter was fully represented at the outreach as we joined other brethren in taking the gospel message to the community. The outreach commenced with a courtesy visit to the 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐈𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐰𝐞𝐦 𝐎𝐛𝐨𝐭, who warmly received the brethren and expressed his appreciation for the gospel being brought to his people.

In line with the theme of the CUGF Evangelism Day, "𝐈𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐖𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐞", the brethren moved around the village preaching the message of peace, forgiveness, reconciliation, and unity, drawing references from 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝟓:𝟐𝟐–𝟐𝟒, 𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐞 𝟏𝟕:𝟑–𝟒 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟒:𝟏𝟗.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the outreach was the warm reception given by the villagers. Many residents came out to listen attentively to the message, openly affirming the truth of the gospel and declaring their belief in the Father. The atmosphere was filled with joy and eagerness as hearts were touched by the message of salvation.

ABAS University of Uyo Chapter appreciates the Father for journey mercies, divine guidance, the unity demonstrated among the participating fellowships, and the souls reached through the outreach. We pray that the seeds sown today will continue to bear lasting fruits in the lives of the people of Ikot Akpabin Village.

The 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 (𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒), 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, successfully held her monthly Congress 𝟑𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐲, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞, 𝐀𝐟𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐎𝐤𝐮 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐥.

The Congress recorded an impressive attendance of 𝟔𝟎 𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬, serving as a strategic gathering for impactful deliberations, accountability, and updates concerning the progress of the Chapter.

A major highlight of the Congress was the update on the forthcoming 𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐤𝐰𝐚 𝐈𝐛𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, for which 𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐔𝐘𝐎 is set to serve as the host Chapter. The 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 (𝐂𝐏𝐂) presented progress reports on preparations towards the Convocation, while the 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 (𝐋𝐎𝐂) furnished the house with important updates and plans from the state level.

Another memorable and exciting highlight of the Congress was the crowning of the 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐔𝐘𝐎 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, which emerged in the person of 𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐦𝐦𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐚 adding colour, excitement, and celebration to the congress.

Furthermore, committee reports were presented by the various committees of the Chapter, reviewed and addressed by the President, reflecting the Chapter’s commitment to growth, structure, and effective administration.

The presence and contributions of Chapter 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 added immense value to the Congress, as their observations, corrections, and insights greatly enriched the deliberations.

The 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 (𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒), 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐟 𝐔𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, on the 𝟐𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐲, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, gathered at the 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐱 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐟 𝐔𝐲𝐨, to observe the sacred Break of Fast in a spirit of oneness and collective devotion.

The occasion marked the resumption of academic activities for the new semester, bringing ABASites together to seek the Father's covering over their studies and for divine guidance and protection throughout the semester.

Brief announcements and remarks were given by the Chapter President. He further reminded members that excellence in their academic responsibilities is not separate from their spiritual walk but an expression of it. He also added that ABASites to stay active in the fold and service by representing the name of our Father positively wherever they may find themselves.

The exercise ended with a joyful 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓, as everyone ate together in fellowship and love.

The entire chapter remains grateful to our Father, 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐎𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚 𝐎𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚 𝐎𝐛𝐮, for his continuous blessings and guidance as well as his grace and continued watch over every ABASites.

On Friday, 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 (𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒), 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 successfully went on a Ministry Work as a tradition in preparation towards the opening of the new semester at 𝐄𝐰𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐥.

ABASites gathered together in one accord, beautifully adorned in their formal regalia, the 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞, reflecting unity, discipline, and commitment to the vision and work of the chapter.

The ministry work was indeed impactful and spiritually uplifting, as members devoted themselves to service and fellowship in the presence of the Father. Following the ministry activities, members proceeded into an engaging all-night choral practice geared towards adequate preparation for the upcoming 𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐊𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

The activities extended into this morning with a refreshing Morning Devotion, where prayers were offered, exhortations were shared, and pronouncements of blessings were released upon all members present and the entire scholars of ABAS University of Uyo Chapter.

Also, during the Morning Devotion, an ABASite who marked his birthday was specially recognized and called forward as members joyfully joined in celebrating him while prayers were offered for a fruitful and prosperous new year ahead.

We accord all Glory and Adorations to our Heavenly Father for the success of the ministry work. Indeed, it was a moment of spiritual growth, fellowship, and divine encounter.
