Growing Faith Through Research.

Fedir Raichynets reflects on how his journey of research is deeply intertwined with his faith.

In this honest reflection, Fedir opens up about the losses he experienced through COVID-19 and the war - and how these moments have led him to wrestle with what it means to hold onto faith in difficult times.

What does it look like to trust when life feels uncertain? How do we continue when the path is hard?

This is a story of perseverance, questioning, and learning to remain faithful through it all.

Thank you, Fedir, for sharing your story.

Marcus Tayloe, an IBTS student, recommends Letters and Papers from Prison by Dietrich Bonhoeffer as one of his favourite books from the John Smyth Library.

He reflects on how the text holds together deep vulnerability with bold and challenging theological thought, offering fresh insight into faith lived under pressure and in confinement.

A powerful work that continues to raise important questions about discipleship, courage, and conviction.
