Tomorrow is almost here. We hope to see all our new students at our Welcome and Introduction Meeting!
Our Walking Tour is fully booked but we are happy to welcome you all at the Oude Lutherse Kerk at 14:30.
Because of this event the admissions office for the master's will be closed on Monday August 28.

Our Welcome and Introduction Meeting is coming up fast (for students new to the UvA). Only a few places left in the Walking Tour so register now if you still like to participate!
Welcome and Introduction Meeting - GSH - University of Amsterdam On Monday 28 August, the Faculty of Humanities will be organising a warm welcome for Master's and Exchange students who are new to the UvA.
Deadline approaching: Certified Documents August first!
Our international student who still need to hand in certified documents (such as transcripts, diploma's/statement of graduation and in some cases the results of your English language test) please make sure to do so before August first!
If you think you will not make this deadline please contact our Admissions Office.
Unfortunately our Admissions Office still has a backlog in email. For question regarding visa and immigration procedure we suggest you contact the Student Service Desk.
If it is indeed a question for the Admissions Office and it is urgent we suggest you call.
Please make sure to visit the website since most information can be found online as well. Search for your programme and use the A-Z information.
Due to recent holidays in the Netherlands and busy times our Admissions Office has a backlog in email. They are currently working very hard to solve this but it could still take some time before your email is answered.
If the matter is urgent we advise you to call!
On 5 May, the Netherlands celebrates the end of the Second World War. Hence, the Admissions Office will be closed for the day. You can reach us again on Monday 8 May.

Our King is turning 50 tomorrow so we will be off celebrating!
The Admissions Office and the University of Amsterdam will be back in business on Monday May first.
We are reaching the end of our admissions procedure for international students and are sending out decisions this and the upcoming weeks.
We do hope to send the decisions out as soon as possible but due to the amount of applications it may take a bit longer than expected.

Due to Good Friday and Easter Monday the University and the Admissions Office Humanities will be closed.
We will be back on Tuesday April 18!

We are currently in the middle of our application procedure and our selection committees are reviewing files as we speak!
Please be aware it may take up to eight weeks after the application deadline before you hear about a decision.
