There will always be people who dislike your work, your art, your style, your choices, or the way you move through the world.

You don't need everyone's approval to keep going.

A clear mind, a healthy body, and a steady pace will always take you farther than you think, further than any amount of validation ever could.

Forward is forward.

I'm diving into the world of vehicle fantasy concepts, and I’m using AI to help bring my vision to life. It all started with a real photo of a Mercedes Adventure truck model (1113). From there, I created a detailed sketch in my own style, and then I took it to the next level with AI to give it a 3D feel and add some imaginative mechanical features.

😇 Why start with a “real” reference? Well, it serves a dual purpose. First, it keeps things authentic, grounding my designs in reality. Second, it helps me find deeper meaning in my message.

I’ve envisioned my adventure truck in eight different modes:

1. eXtension: Think pistons and power, designed for sky time-travel.
2. Omni Reach: Featuring robotic arms for flexibility—expressive yet techy.
3. Shieldspire: Equipped with antennas and shields, perfect for navigating crystal caves.
4. Oblivion Crawler: With multi legs for an insect-like feel, ready for hostile terrains.
5. Aerial Stride: Built for lift and dry air, dominating the skies.
6. Grim Hound: A grounded powerhouse with a quad stride and industrial vibe.
7. Iron Weaver: Featuring a roof leg system and chains, it has a medieval simplicity.
8. Dust Cloak: A tent as protection and camouflage, ideal for dusty environments.

My goal was to test the concept art process by creating multiple variations and thumbnails. In my AI prompts, I focus on a few key areas:

1. Design Innovation: I aim to maintain the essence of traditional vehicle design while pushing its boundaries, crafting structures and functionalities that reflect the adventurous world my truck inhabits.

2. Functionality: While my truck isn’t as exaggerated as a mecha, I still incorporate real-world physics and engineering principles to keep it believable within its context.

3. Narrative Elements: The design embodies the story or themes of my work, symbolizing power, adventure, or conflict.

4. Motion Dynamics: I illustrate the transformation from a “normal” truck into a fantasy vehicle, placing it in its proper environment and performing a certain action.

Concept art is all about prototyping, creating worlds, and exploring new meanings and stories. By using AI as a system, I can explore faster and bolder scenarios, trying to push my own limits of my creativity.

PS: I have changed my original music with an AI generated one since Facebook is cutting the initial music even though is royalty free.

Architectural sketching workflow using Procreate, from my sketching classes.

My sketching technique is based on dominant straight lines. In fact, I force the pen to snap to vertical and horizontal strokes as much as possible. I'm keeping the values simple to a max of 4 shades and I aim for a time spent per sketch somewhere between 1-4h (depending on the details or canvas scale).

PROCREATE WORKFLOW:
Step 1. Layout and proportions sketch
Step 2. Outline sketch
Step 3. Texture sketch
Step 4. Final values and shadows

Are people born creative, or is creativity learned?

13/06/2026

When we build on sinking sand, everything eventually sinks with it — our creativity, our health, our relationships, and our work.

True creativity is the kind that remains through hard times and grows over time without obsessive effort, because it is sustained from within.

Every character that you create must have a goal, must live in its world with passion and purpose ... just like real human beings.

Raphael the Raccoon is a ninja raccoon going through a journey of recovering the Ancient Time from the Machines World.

Raphael bravely travels into a world of machinery which is mimicking nature, it's a world of illusions and false perceptions.

His mission is to restore the infinite nature and beauty and he can only do this by recovering the Ancient Time which holds all the truth and wisdom.

Thumbnail Sketching = one of the most powerful thinking tools. ✏️

Instead of obsessively spending hours perfecting a single idea, draw 10–20 tiny ideas. Explore, experiment, and discover better solutions faster. Small sketches, big breakthroughs.
