These weeks, our own Thor Holt and Uwe Englert (University of Munich) are curating and introducing a series of German film adaptations of Ibsen at Filmmuseum München. Despite the temperature exceeding 30 degrees outside, around 50 people attended a special screening of Detlef Sierck’s “Stützen der Gesellschaft” (1935) on Friday. The film series has been covered in the local newspaper TZ (see first comment) and continues this week with Harald Braun’s “Nora” (1944).
