The Palace of the Medicine Buddha is a legendary, celestial palace where the Medicine Buddha, Bhaisajyaguru, resides and teaches the science of healing.

The thirty-five buddhas are special confession buddhas. While they were still bodhisattvas, that made special vows to assist other beings to overcome their negativities. The practice of 35 Confessional Buddhas is one of the best methods to purify our negative karma and can lead to attainments on the path towards enlightenment. Thirty-five Confession Buddhas are a representation of the purification of Bodhisattva aspiration and moral code of Mahayana Buddhism. These Buddha are the source of purification and we must completely believe in them and take refuge in them to develop Bodhichitta. Everything can be overcome by sincerely reciting the confession prayer and imagining that the Thirty-five Buddhas and all the buddhas of ten directions are really there. It should be done with total faith, devotion, remorse, humility and conviction in wanting to overcome.

Jambhala: The Buddhist deity of Wealth, Prosperity, and Abundance.

White zambala is the emanation of zambala that emphasises the activity of pacification of miserliness in order to bestow inner and outer wealth. He is usually depicted riding upon a dragon that symbolises the pacification of our immense ego that leads us to suffer in poverty.

Black zambala is the emanation of zambala that emphasises the activity of wrath in destroying the causes that lead us to poverty, negative states and conditions. He is usually depicted solitary with his secret organ revealed in order to pacify our great desire.

Red zambala is the emanation of zambala that emphasises the activity of control and attraction while bestowing inner and outer wealth. He is usually depicted in union with an emanation of Vasundhara, a wealth-bestowing emanation of Tara.

Green Zambala is the emanation of zambala that counters the negative attribute of jealousy, one of the downfalls that leads to poverty. He is usually depicted in union with an emanation of Vasundhara, a wealth-bestowing emanation of Tara.

The wrathful heruka Vajrakilaya is the yidam deity who embodies the enlightened activity of all the buddhas and whose practice is famous for being the most powerful for removing obstacles, destroying the forces hostile to compassion and purifying the spiritual pollution so prevalent in this age. Vajrakilaya is one of the eight deities of Kagyé.

Kalachakra stands with each foot on a deity; symbolizing that - as Buddhahood made form - he controls the karmic winds in the right and left channels and guided them into central channel. This wind channel is symbolized by the body of the deity, whose blue color signifies profound wisdom. His two legs also symbolize the two halves of a year, as well as the two halves of a day , during which the breath flows mainly through the right to left nostril.
Kalachakra’s three necks -black(centre), red(right) and white(left) - symbolize the three most important channels in the person, as well as the three groups of four time periods, depicted by the deity’s four face.
