Learning beyond the classroom! ππ
On 19th June 2026, BBA students of SchEMS visited Nepal Dairy Pvt. Ltd. (nd's), Dhapakhel, Lalitpur, for an Industrial Field Visit.
Students had the opportunity to interact with Dr. Laxman Sherchand, Director of nd's, who shared the inspiring journey, operations, and growth of the company through an insightful presentation. The session was highly interactive, allowing students to engage in meaningful discussions and gain practical industry knowledge.
The visit concluded with a factory tour where students observed the production, processing, and packaging operations firsthand.
A truly enriching experience that bridged the gap between theory and practice. β¨

We are proud to share that Ms. Anupama Rajya Shahi, an M.Sc. Environmental Science student, participated in the 64th Sessions of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies (SB64), held from June 8β18, 2026, at the World Conference Center Bonn and the UN Campus in Bonn, Germany.
As the primary mid-year milestone in the global climate calendar, SB64 served as a crucial technical checkpoint focused on advancing discussions on climate finance, the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA), Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), and preparations for COP31.
During the conference, Ms. Shahi observed technical negotiations and attended thematic side events, workshops, and panel discussions on key issues such as gender-responsive climate finance, the Global Stocktake (GST), and climate adaptation strategies. She also engaged with policymakers, youth advocates, indigenous constituency groups, and international NGOs, contributing to discussions on climate justice and equitable climate financing.
In addition, she explored the UNFCCC Story Gallery at the UN Campus, gaining valuable insights into three decades of climate negotiation history through rare documents, photographs, and artifacts.
Her participation reflects a strong commitment to global climate action and highlights the growing role of young environmental leaders in shaping a sustainable future. We congratulate Ms. Shahi on this remarkable achievement and wish her continued success in her academic and professional journey.
