Canopy Nepal is working in education to create educational accessibility for underprivileged children.

Canopy Nepal is working in the field of education, skill and leadership development, diversity, and inclusions. We seek to improve the quality and efficiency of education by focusing on the learner and reshaping the way we learn. Our programs challenge the very traditional rote learning mechanism which is still prevalent in almost every educational institution in Nepal. We also aim at creating an

What if learning started with a little chaos? 🎉

At every Katha Bunaun session, energizers come first. Jumping, laughing and moving because an engaged mind learns better. They reset attention, spark curiosity, and get students ready to create. 🧠

Our latest session at Annapurna Secondary School was no different. And when that energy meets storytelling? Magic happens.

Every story starts with a safe space to speak. 🌱

At our Katha Bunaun session in Ama Ghar Orphanage, our facilitators brought students together through storytelling, activities, and energizers creating moments where young minds felt free to imagine, express, and put their thoughts on paper.

Because when students find their voice, creativity follows. And creativity? That’s where change begins.✨

We had a beautiful storytelling session at Aama Ghar, Godavari and the energy in that room was inspiring. Watching everyone walk in, wave at the camera, and be so freely themselves reminded us exactly why we do what we do at Canopy. ✨

As the new academic corner is around the corner, there is a quiet kind of excitement that comes with something as simple as a new notebook or a fresh pen. For our scholars, these are not just supplies, they are a fresh start, a sense of pride, and a small but powerful reminder that their education matters.

We completed our first stationery distribution, making sure every scholar received the essentials they need. But beyond the materials, it is the little moments that stay with you. The careful flipping through blank pages, the smile that comes with owning something new, the motivation to begin again.

Because sometimes, the smallest things carry the biggest meaning. And for every child holding a new notebook today, there is a renewed sense of possibility for the year ahead.

At Shivapuri School, Ranjit feels most at ease on a quiet bench in the school grounds rather than inside the classroom. Sitting under the warm sun, this simple spot becomes his space to pause, read, play, and just be. Away from the noise, he enjoys moments of calm where he can open his book, relax his mind, and recharge. As a learner growing through his journey, Ranjit reminds us that sometimes the most meaningful spaces in school are the ones where students feel at ease, spaces that allow them to breathe, reflect, and enjoy learning in their own way.

At Canopy, we want to support more students like Ranjit, students who find joy in simple moments, who continue to learn with curiosity, and who grow at their own pace. Please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or support us directly by donating monthly today.
