Tuning in the Central Idea
“Impact of production and trade create responsibilities related to economic activity."
Grade Four students engaged in a brainstorming activity using everyday goods such as clothes, stationery items, vegetables, cosmetics, medicines, tea, and purses to activate their prior knowledge and generate questions about production and trade. Through collaborative discussions, they explored different perspectives and considered the responsibilities involved in producing, trading, and consuming goods.
This learning experience fostered research skills as students observed, questioned, and made connections between ideas. They also developed social skills through active participation, respectful communication, and effective collaboration with their peers. Students demonstrated the learner profile attributes of being Reflective, by considering the impact of their choices, and Principled, by recognizing the importance of responsible and ethical economic practices.
Through this inquiry, students were introduced to the key concepts of Perspective and Responsibility, encouraging them to appreciate diverse viewpoints and understand their role in promoting a sustainable and equitable global community. ❤️

As part of the IB PYP "Who We Are" unit, Grade 3 students presented their character analysis of *The Magic Finger* by Roald Dahl. Through thoughtful discussions and presentations, learners explored the characters' actions, choices, and personal growth while making connections to the central idea of understanding ourselves and others. Some students also shared their insights with Grade 5 learners, demonstrating confidence, communication, and critical-thinking skills. We are proud of their enthusiasm and reflective learning journey! ❤️

🧘‍♀️ Embracing wellness through yoga!
Our students participated in a refreshing and energizing yoga session that encouraged balance, flexibility, mindfulness, and healthy living. Through guided movements and breathing techniques, they learned valuable practices for staying active, focused, and balanced in their daily lives.
The session was conducted by Dr. Aarati Regmi, whose guidance helped students experience the benefits of yoga in a meaningful and engaging way.
