Our NBFA futsal teams delivered outstanding results in a friendly match against Kathmandu Vidhyakunja School today.

Today’s classroom was full of color as our students recycled egg cartons into bright works of art. From mixing yellow paint to carefully coating every corner, their concentration was absolutely amazing!
We love seeing our students explore their creative sides while learning about upcycling. 🌟

Our little learners are dive-deep into mathematical concepts today using the Montessori Knobbed Cylinders!
While it looks like a fun puzzle, this activity is actually a foundational step for math. By exploring these blocks, children are developing:
Visual Discrimination: Learning to judge differences in height, diameter, and size.
Fine Motor Skills: Using the "pincer grip" to hold the k***s, which prepares their fingers for writing.
Mathematical Mindset: Encouraging problem-solving and order as they find the perfect fit for each cylinder.

Using base-ten blocks (tens rods and ones cubes), our little mathematicians are building, counting, and discovering how numbers work in four different ways. Seeing abstract concepts turn into real, physical blocks makes learning so much more meaningful—and fun!
