Modern Indian School

If you’re a Modernite, chances are you’ve wondered at least once in your life if the school’s flooded by the river—especially during monsoon season. Like our school anthem says, we're quite literally on the banks of Bagmati Ganges! But when the floods do come, it’s far from the usual curiosity—it’s a harsh reality.

This album shows a mix of moments during the flood and the hard work after. Fallen trees blocking the roads, classrooms filled with mud and debris, and the massive effort to clean it all up.

Floods have hit Nepal hard this year, and the damage to the school is just one part of the bigger picture.

We pray for resilience and strength for everyone affected. And if you can, support your neighbors in any way possible. If you’re outside Nepal, consider supporting organizations with clear and honest records, ensuring your help reaches those most in need.

Our students for the Gothia Cup 2019 at China

Education is the most important jewel in our life. If we are fortunate enough to have it, we should also be willing to share it.
The students donated one novel each and together we were able to collect 1400 novels. It was all donated to Shiksha Nepal.

Feelings of compassion, humanity and a sense of appreciation now and then is very important.
Our students are cleaning a temple as part of their curriculum,this also let's them have a platform to give back to the community as a whole.
