On Monday, 1 June 2026, GEMS High School welcomed its new cohort of NEB Grade XI students through a Formal Orientation Programme held at the Soaltee Hotel.

The programme marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our students, bringing together learners, faculty, and staff as they embarked on their higher secondary journey. Students had the opportunity to hear inspiring messages from the Academic Director, Dr. Rajeev Chhetri, and Guest of Honour, Dr. Luke Beaumont, Deputy Ambassador at the British Embassy Kathmandu, who encouraged them to embrace curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and perseverance in a rapidly changing world.

The day also featured interactive activities that helped students connect with one another and begin building the friendships, experiences, and memories that will shape their years at GEMS.

We wish our new Grade XI students every success as they begin this exciting journey ahead.

This past weekend, GEMS School successfully conducted the Orientation Programme for the new batch of AS Level students and their parents. The session introduced students and families to the academic journey ahead and provided insights into student life, support systems, co-curricular opportunities, and school expectations.

The programme featured presentations from different departments, helping students familiarise themselves with the GEMS community and prepare for a meaningful and successful high school experience.
