B.Sc. MLT students from the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at JF Institute of Health Sciences actively participated in an e-poster presentation organized by the Department of Biochemistry, Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University.

The program was conducted under the theme “Innovations in Diagnostic Biochemistry: Bridging Academics, Healthcare and Research.”

This participation underscores the students’ commitment to academic excellence, meaningful research engagement, and their continued efforts toward advancing the field of medical laboratory science.

Curriculum Development Simulation

B.Sc. Nursing 4th-year students successfully organized a Curriculum Development Simulation on 17 April 2026, creating a dynamic platform for practical learning and collaboration.

The activity aimed to deepen understanding of the nursing curriculum and its effective implementation. Through active participation in curriculum planning, development, and evaluation, students gained hands-on experience while strengthening their critical thinking and decision-making skills.

It was truly an enriching and insightful experience, preparing our future nurses for excellence in academic and professional practice.

Orientation Program on Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

JF Institute of Health Sciences successfully conducted an Orientation Program on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Nurses and Midwives on 10 April 2026 (27 Chaitra 2082) at the college.

The session focused on enhancing understanding of CPD requirements, CNME guidelines, CPD providers, the license renewal process, and ways to earn CPD credit points. The program emphasized the importance of safe, ethical, and competent nursing practice while fostering a culture of continuous professional growth.

The event was attended by Nursing Faculty Members, BNS students, and an invited nurse from Silverline Hospital. The interactive session offered valuable insights and practical guidance for maintaining professional competence through CPD.

The LAJF ECA Week 2026 closing ceremony was a grand event with medal distribution and amazing cultural performances from our students. Congratulations winners, participants and the organizing committee!
