Literally in Pali Language, METTA means "Loving kindness" so METTA Volunteers is a social group who entertains in contributing voluntarily growing self discipline as WE can. Established in August 2011, the group is based in Lalitpur District of Nepal and is registered under the social welfare council Nepal. In the spirit of METTA; a Pali word meaning loving-kindness, the group drives home the mess
age of compassion and unconditional love through the act of giving. Guided by the 5 precepts of Buddha's teaching, METTA volunteers observe strict moral conduct and uphold the virtue of humility and selflessness while serving the less fortunate. METTA is supported by a network of active volunteers who form the backbone of the group. Despite coming from diverse background and nationalities, METTA Volunteers work closely as a team and display great strength in helping the weak and the poor. Mission

METTA Volunteers, a non govt., non political, non profit organization, has been formed in aim of "MORAL STRENGTH" and "SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY" to be a good social being. For growing legally, WE have registered METTA Volunteers on 16 August 2011 in Lalitpur District, Nepal under given government offices:
