To commemorate the birth of the Modern Olympic Games, Ideal Model School proudly celebrated Olympic Day 2026 by organizing the IMS Triangular Series Basketball Tournament in association with the Nepal Olympic Committee.
The event brought together school students, teachers, and college students in the true Olympic spirit of excellence, friendship, and respect. Through healthy competition and teamwork, the tournament promoted the values of sportsmanship, unity, and physical fitness among the participants.

Investiture Ceremony 2083
Our school proudly conducted the Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2083, marking the formal induction of the newly elected student leaders. Senior and Junior School Heads, along with members of the student council, were felicitated with badges, sashes, and letters of appointment, symbolizing the responsibilities and trust bestowed upon them.

🌱 Grade 3 Plantation Activity 🌱
On the occasion of World Environment Day, our Grade 3 students enthusiastically participated in a plantation activity. The students planted saplings and learned about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and protecting the environment.

To mark World Environment Day, students from Grades 4 to 10 enthusiastically participated in an Inter-Section Chart Making Competition. World Environment Day – Grade 2 Model Making Activity
Our Grade 2 students enthusiastically participated in a Model Making Activity, creatively depicting the effects of human-caused climate change on Mother Earth. Through their models, they highlighted environmental challenges such as pollution, deforestation, and global warming.

Experiential Learning in Action – Grade 4 Leadership Hike
As part of our ‘Life Skill Programme’, an experiential learning initiative, Grade 4 students participated in an exciting experiential learning hike from Bungamati to Karyabinayak Temple under the theme “Leadership Development.”
Throughout the walk, students explored the local environment, learned about cultural and religious heritage, identified cardinal directions using landmarks, and worked collaboratively in teams. They also engaged in practical problem-solving activities, including learning basic rope bridge techniques for emergency situations.
The hike provided valuable opportunities for students to demonstrate responsibility, teamwork, confidence, and leadership while developing a deeper appreciation for nature and culture.
We are proud of our young learners for their enthusiasm, cooperation, and positive spirit throughout the activity.

🌱 World Environment Day 2026 🌱
On the occasion of World Environment Day, our school proudly carried out a green initiative with the support of the German Embassy.
Students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 received potted plants to nurture at home, while students from Grade 6 to Grade 10 received eco-friendly plantable pencils that can be planted after use.
This initiative aims to instill environmental responsibility in our students and encourage simple yet meaningful actions towards a greener future.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Guntram Meier and the German Embassy for their valuable support in making this initiative possible.
