Public speaking is more than just speaking in front of an audience; it's a superpower that can empower children to build confidence, express their ideas, and discover their unique voice.
Our Sathis facilitated the “Speaking Superpower Workshop" for the students from grade 3 of Shree Adarsha Kanya Niketan Higher Secondary School. Through interactive presentations, engaging games, storytelling, and sharing sessions, students explored the components of public speaking and learned to communicate with confidence, clarity, and impact. Throughout the workshop, children were encouraged to share their thoughts, listen actively, and support one another in a safe and joyful learning environment. The activities helped them strengthen their self-expression, develop leadership skills, and help children speak up and be heard.
It was truly inspiring to witness young learners grow more expressive and courageous with each activity, taking meaningful steps toward becoming effective communicators and future leaders.

For the academic year 2083, we will continue our support for children in community schools in Lalitpur Metropolitan City by enhancing their reading proficiency. We conducted a baseline survey in 24 community schools, during which we interviewed focal teachers and reading club members to identify needs. This will help us to refine the support program for this year and make reading activities more effective through active participation from students.

This theme highlights the importance of ensuring women’s rights, promoting equal justice, and taking concrete actions to end discrimination and violence against women and girls.
Rights become truly powerful when they are supported by meaningful action. By taking practical steps together, we can help create a world where every woman and girl fully enjoys, exercises, and benefits from her rights.
