๐งฎโจ Perfect Score at Mathex 2026! โจ๐งฎ
Congratulations to the 32 Carmel College students who represented us at the North Shore Year 7/8 Mathex Competition at Northcross Intermediate recently.
Working against the clock, our teams tackled 20 challenging maths problems that required teamwork, problem-solving, and plenty of quick thinking.
A special shout-out to our Year 8 Team 4 โ Ella Te Whiu, Scarlett Lee, Sammi Zhao, and Carol Widjaja โ who achieved a perfect score of 100, submitting their final answer with just 4 seconds remaining! ๐๐
We also congratulate Nadia Barreto, Gretel Moleta, and Lily Lewis, who were recognised as runners demonstrating outstanding respect and resilience throughout the competition.
We are incredibly proud of all our students for the enthusiasm, determination, and teamwork they displayed while representing Carmel College. We can't wait to see them compete at the Auckland Mathex Competition in Term 3!
