What a glorious day for Cross Country!

We were super proud of every single one of our team - special mention to Hetal who came 3rd in the 11y/o Girls section and Mathias who came so close to a top 10 finish in 11th for 10y/o boys.

Wonderful runs from all of the team, including: Portia, Udai, Hayley, Sophia, Ealias, Lilly, Sonny, Amelia, Caleb, Hetal, Mathias, Saadat, Ava, Hongyi, Avery-Lee, Charlie and Waimarama.

Huge thanks go to Ash and Berlin, our parent marshall volunteers - we couldn't provide these opportunities without whānau support. And to our awesome support staffer Petula!

Our Pōtiki students have been developing their performance skills through drama this week! They explored the difference between costumes and props, learning how each helps to bring characters and stories to life.
Students had the opportunity to experiment with a variety of costumes and props throughout the lesson, using them during whole-class drama games as well as in solo performance challenges. It was wonderful to see their creativity, confidence, and imagination shine as they stepped into different roles and brought their ideas to the stage.

Room 3 was a suamalie (delicious) place to be today for the end of Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa!

A big thank you to Mahalia's family, especially Tania & Junior, for visiting our class today and sharing some delicious home-cooked traditional Sāmoan food with the children, including Sapasui (Sāmoan chop suey), rice, and panikeke. The students loved tasting these special foods while learning more about Sāmoan culture and traditions. We are very grateful for their time and generosity in making our learning experience so memorable. Fa'afetai lava! 🌺🇼🇸

This year, the fantastic duo of Mrs.D'Souza and Mrs Ghosh are training our little songbirds for their involvement in the Eden-Albert children's choir.

On Tuesday, Mrs.D'Souza and our wonderful Learning Assistant Marleen took the group out for the first cross-schools rehearsal at Auckland Normal Intermediate - building towards the big gig at Holy Trinity Cathedral!

Awesome to see our students thriving in this important Arts space!
