Rainy Day Creativity with Puffy Paint
The rainy weather called for some extra creative exploration this morning, and puffy paint was the perfect experience! The children were fascinated by the unique texture of the paint and excited to see their artwork puff up as it dried.
Throughout the experience, the tamariki were deeply engaged, carefully thinking about what they wanted to create and making choices about the colours they wished to use. There were many wonderful conversations as children shared their ideas, described their creations, and discussed their colour selections with one another.
It was a highly engaging and enjoyable morning, filled with creativity, imagination, and opportunities for self-expression. The excitement and pride on the children’s faces as they watched their artwork transform was a joy to see.

Today our tamaiti enjoyed a wonderful time embracing the sunshine whilst in the sandpit.
They worked alongside each other digging, scooping, filling buckets, and creating imaginative sand creations. Through their play, the children shared resources, communicated ideas non-verbally, and developed important social skills such as cooperation and turn-taking.
The sandpit provided opportunities for exploration, creativity, and sensory learning as our tamaiti experimented with different textures and worked together to bring their ideas to life. It was lovely to see friendships growing as they laughed, collaborated, and supported one another during their play.
What a fun-filled day of learning, discovery, and friendship in the sandpit! 💝🌻

Dear whānau, just a kind reminder that we are still collecting new pyjamas for our PJ Project donation drive. If you’re able to contribute, we would greatly appreciate your support in helping keep children in our community warm this winter. Any size is welcome, and donations can be placed in the collection area near reception. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. 💙
