It was awesome to present my Kapa Haka Vocal Workshop with the kaihaka at Sancta Maria College.
Ngā mihi nui for having me!
One of my favourite things is seeing how quickly our rangatahi pick up vocal technique when it’s explained in a way that makes sense.
When you understand how the voice works, you can project with more power and confidence! Without forcing, straining, or holding tension in the voice.
Such an awesome rōpū to work with!
Keen to support your rōpū with a Kapa Haka Vocal Workshop?
DM me for more info.
Waiata has a way of reaching places words cannot.
In this moment, different cultures, different stories, and different voices came together and it was ❤️🔥!
This is the power of voice when it is held with aroha, confidence, and connection.
Our voices unite us.

What makes Matariki special to you?
For me, it’s whānau.
It’s going back to our marae.
It’s being on the whenua.
It’s remembering who we are, where we come from, and taking time to reconnect.
That’s what I love about Matariki.
It brings us together.
