Our tamariki have been busy learning, exploring, and celebrating through a variety of experiences.
We celebrated the King’s Birthday with fun dress-up activities and conversations about the special occasion.
During mealtimes, our children enjoyed sitting together, practising independence, and taking part in our kai prayer. These moments help foster gratitude, belonging, and a sense of community.
Philippine Independence Day. Children and teachers from all rooms joined in the festivities, sharing in music, dancing, laughter, and cultural appreciation. It was heartwarming to see everyone united in celebration, embracing diversity and creating beautiful memories together.
We are so proud of our tamariki and grateful to our whānau for being part of these special moments. Here’s to continuing to learn, play, celebrate, and grow together! ❤️✨

This week, as we reflect on important global and national moments, our focus turns to the significance of Anzac Day, while also acknowledging the importance of Earth Day.
We took time to help our children understand the meaning of Anzac Day—honouring the bravery, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served . Through age-appropriate discussions, creative activities, and moments of reflection, our tamariki were introduced to values of respect, gratitude, and remembrance. Poppy art, storytelling, baking and quiet reflection helped bring this important day to life in a meaningful way.
Alongside this, we also embraced Earth Day to connect with nature and understand the importance of caring for our planet.
It has been a week of learning, reflection, and connection—honouring the past while nurturing a sense of responsibility for the future. 🌿

Highlights from Our Week ✨🌿
Our tamariki were exploring and learning through thoughtfully planned board activities created by our amazing teachers. These activities encouraged problem-solving, critical thinking, and helped strengthen their growing minds in fun and engaging ways
Creativity was in full bloom as our children designed and built their very own stage! From planning to performing, they confidently expressed themselves, putting on little shows that filled the room with joy, laughter, and imagination
In our baby room, nature took centre stage 🍂The little ones explored autumn leaves and beautiful flowers, carefully placing them into hole containers. This simple yet meaningful activity supported their fine motor skills while nurturing curiosity and an appreciation for the beauty of nature 🌼🍁
