Kia ora Whฤnau,
You may have seen media reports today regarding bomb threats affecting some schools across New Zealand.
We would like to reassure families that we have not received any threats or alerts at our centre. We are operating as normal and there is no cause for concern at this stage.
As always, the safety and wellbeing of our tamariki and team remain our top priority. We will continue to follow any guidance from the relevant authorities and will keep families informed if there are any updates that affect our centre.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Ngฤ mihi,
The Little Wonders Glendowie Team

Last friday we explored Dragon Boat Festival, a traditional celebration enjoyed by many Asian families. Tamariki enjoyed pretending to cook zongzi and exploring a handmade dragon boat. Through this experience, children were introduced to different cultural traditions while developing their imagination, communication, and social skills.

Outdoor Fun of the Day - Dart Throwing ๐ฏ
Our tamariki enjoyed developing their hand-eye coordination, focus, and turn-taking skills while having fun outdoors! What a brilliant teaching idea from our teachers.

The weather has been on and off, but we've been very lucky in the middle of the day. Before leaving the playground, we helped with rubbish collection - tamariki learned the importance of caring for others and looking after our environment ๐

๐โจ A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Families โจ๐
๐๐งธ When we first set our goal of collecting 15 sets of pyjamas, we never imagined the incredible response we would receive. Thanks to the generosity and kindness of our wonderful families, we received 26 sets! ๐๐
๐ฅฐ We are truly overwhelmed by your support. Your donations are more than just pyjamas โ they are gifts of love, care, and community spirit. ๐ Together, you have shown our children the power of kindness and what it means to help others. ๐
๐ฌ๐ซ To celebrate our Pyjama Day, the children arrived in their cosiest pyjamas and enjoyed a special movie afternoon with warm hot chocolate and fluffy marshmallows. โ๐ค
๐๐ฟ We also picked fresh grapefruits from our garden to share as a late afternoon snack. The children were so excited to harvest and taste fruit they had watched growing! ๐
๐ Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories and for showing our tamariki what a caring community looks like. We are incredibly lucky to have such supportive families. ๐ซถ
๐ง๐ฆ The children love you, and so do we! โค๏ธ
๐โจ Thank you for making a difference.
With sincere gratitude,

We have a lovely Baby Room with three fully qualified teachers โ two very experienced senior teachers and one energetic, creative young teacher. Our administration and management offices are attached to the baby area, so the teaching team always has an extra pair of hands when needed.
We are welcoming more babies to join us! ๐ถWe have a super-sized outdoor playground for children to explore๐บ๏ธ, as well as a semi-covered outdoor area, so babies can enjoy fresh air and outdoor play all year round, even in winter, without getting wet.
We are waiting for you! ๐๐ถ๐ฟ
