For us, it's poached pears simmering with cinnamon, warm mugs between our hands, and the comforting feeling of slowing down to make something with intention.

Winter can be a tricky season. Motivation dips, our social batteries run low, and it's easy to retreat into hibernation mode. That's why this season we're introducing a fresh curriculum designed to keep you inspired, creative, and connected. (Details coming soon!)

Kia ora! Our Wheel Basics programme for teens is back this July 😎🌸🌼

This 3-day wheel-throwing workshop is perfect for beginners wanting to learn how to throw on the pottery wheel, trim, and decorate their own handmade ceramics.

Students will create bowls, cups, and more with up to 4 fired, glazed, food-safe pieces to take home.

Visit 'Outer Space with us this Winter'

Inspired by Matariki, we’ll explore the creation of sculptures inspired by constellations, stars, planets, space, and beyond with kids aged 6 - 9 years.

Join us on Fridays or Saturdays for a relaxing 'spin on the pottery wheel!'. Grab your friends and head to The Clay Centre for a completely unique and different way to spend your Friday Nights and/or your Saturdays.

These classes are perfect for beginners and are all about having fun and giving pottery on the wheel a go under the guidance of our tutors.
