practise therapy using creative means: using music, art, drawing, play, gaming to help young people.

Play therapy is a creative means of helping children and young teens deal with their problems in a non-threatening manner. Feelings are saftly dealt with using the child/teens likes such as music, play dough, art etc. The family are activally involved in the problem solving and any key players such as schools or religous groups/community that are needed form part of the therapeutic helping process.

This is so true # many times children or teens trigger parents @ learning how to cope with this without melting in your parenting is key # gestalt creative therapy works alongside parents to help them learn how to self care and parent successfully

How true is this? Many times parents and teens/ young adults hit a brick wall for this very reason. It's the scenario of how we all view a tree, some see the leaves, others the branches of the tree and yet others see the trunk. Bottom line: 3 perspectives; but its still a tree. There can be more than one point of view on an issue in conflict. 🤔 💭
