We are proud to share that BMPS has won the Papatoetoe–Ōtara Open Category in the local moth pod competition, collecting an amazing 10,015 moth pods!
Ngā mihi nui to everyone who contributed to this fantastic result- our whānau and community members who brought in moth pods, our tamariki who spent time collecting locally, our very own Mrs Shelley who dedicated many weekends to gathering pods, and Miss Bedford, who organised our school effort and, together with her whānau, also went moth pod hunting.
Let’s do it all again, next year!

Another amazing week at BMPS!
Our students dove into learning about the water cycle with Watercare, while our talented netballers smashed it at the Ōtara sport cluster tournament—congratulations to our mixed team for placing second and our girls team for showing such awesome skill and attitude. A group of our students also got to watch the Tangaroa College School Choir Matinee. A huge thank you to Tangaroa College for the invitation and the wonderful experience!
