Today we welcomed the Library Bus to our centre, and what a wonderful way to connect with our community!
Providing children with access to books helps foster a love of reading, supports language development, sparks imagination, and builds early literacy skills. Exploring books together encourages communication, curiosity, and a lifelong enjoyment of learning.
We are so grateful for opportunities like this that bring valuable community resources directly to our tamariki and whānau. Thank you to the library team for visiting and helping make books accessible and exciting for everyone.

Today, AVC organized a Pink Ribbon Breakfast event aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer and promoting research support. As the most common cancer affecting New Zealand women, breast cancer impacts 1 in 10 women during their lifetime, resulting in over 650 deaths each year.
Thank you to our AVC community who joined us this morning. We recognise the bravery of the wahine affected by Breast cancer, and the family and friends who support them on this journey.
