A successful performance by our Rowandale School Filipino Dance Group at BestStart Waiata Shores 🇵🇭🤍 They had an amazing time and were so happy to be there, especially with all the gifts they received and the delicious Filipino food they got to enjoy. 😆😁💗
A highlight was seeing all our students loving interacting with the children in the centre and they didn’t want to leave! 😂
Salamat 🇵🇭❤️

If you’ve been walking past the front of the school lately, you’ve probably noticed the incredible progress on our new build! We are absolutely thrilled to share that the building and hard work are well underway for two brand-new Satellite Classrooms for Rosehill School.
Hosting these essential facilities right here on our grounds is a massive privilege, and we cannot wait to officially welcome our new neighbors! 👋❤️
What is a Satellite Unit?
For those who might be wondering, satellite classrooms are purpose-built spaces located at a standard "host" school, but run and staffed entirely by a specialist school (like the amazing team at Rosehill).
It truly offers the best of both worlds:
🌟 Tailored Support: Rosehill students get the specialised, high-needs learning environments, sensory spaces, and dedicated expert care they need to thrive.
🌟 True Inclusion: They are fully a part of our school community. It gives students from both schools the unique opportunity to interact, play, learn from one another, and grow together in an inclusive environment.
This is a awesome milestone for our school family. We are already planning how to weave the official opening of these classrooms into our school programme so our students and staff can celebrate together.
A huge shoutout to the construction teams working hard out front to bring this project to life! Stay tuned for more updates as the build progresses.

Huge Thank You to the Redoubt Stake Young Women!
What an incredible day of service at Rowandale School! On Saturday, May 30th, we were blessed to host a massive group of 50 amazing young ladies from the Redoubt Stake LDS Church Young Women’s Conference.
Embodying their theme of "Royal Hands & Hearts," these young women gave up their Saturday afternoon to show our school some serious love. Working alongside our wonderful Whaea Mareta and Matua Ene, they rolled up their sleeves and tackled a huge list of property tasks, including:
🧹 Cleaning and tidying school grounds
🌿 Weeding and pruning garden areas
🍂 Raking up leaves and clearing debris
⏳ Refilling the sandpit for our tamariki
We are forever grateful for their hard work, high energy, and beautiful spirit of service. Our school is looking so much better thanks to their efforts!
🌸 A Special Acknowledgement and thank you to our very own Mrs. Mina Savila Tamatoa, who leads this incredible group. She reached out weeks ago to organize this project, intentionally choosing to give back to and serve our Rowandale community. Thank you, Mrs. Tamatoa, for your leadership and vision!
To every young woman, leader, and helper involved—THANK YOU SO MUCH! Your royal hands and hearts have made a lasting difference❤️
